telc German C1 university exams in Bielefeld

Since the beginning of 2016, the telc C1 Hochschule exam has been recommended by the Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs for recognition as equivalent to the TestDaF and DSH exams. This means that this exam is accepted by almost all universities and universities of applied sciences in Germany.

As with the other telc exams, the C1 Hochschule exam assesses proficiency in German as a foreign language across four skills (reading comprehension, listening comprehension, written expression, and oral expression) to assess proficiency in German as a foreign language; candidates must score at least 60% of the total points on both the written and oral exams.

telc exams are graded centrally by telc. Language schools and testing centers such as bibis have no influence on the results.
If a candidate fails a portion of the exam (oral or written), that portion may be retaken exactly one year later; the passed portion remains valid for that period.

bibis offers a preparation course for every exam date. You will get to know the exam format and practise techniques for solving the tasks. The necessary knowledge of grammar and vocabulary is assumed. You should therefore have successfully completed at least approx. 1000 lessons or attended courses at C1 level before registering. Important Note: Plan ahead! telc frequently experiences longer processing times when grading exams and issuing certificates. telc does not guarantee specific processing times, and even we, as a licensing partner, have only limited influence over the processing procedure. The actual processing time is therefore beyond our control. Please keep this in mind, especially if you need your certificate by a specific date.

The written exam is on Tuesdays from 09:30 to approx. 13:30, the oral exam on Wednesdays from 13:00. You will be informed separately of the times for other examination days.

. If you book a preparation course at the same time, the fee is € 190.

Have you recently passed a partial test?
You can have the written or oral part you have passed credited one year from the date of the examination.
You pay € 50 less for a partial exam compared to the whole exam. It doesn’t matter which examination center sent you the result sheet with the positive partial result. Simply send us a photo, scan or copy with your registration form.
